This day includes activities to link in with National Bird Feeding Day; preparing the centre for feeding the birds as the winter nights draw in and the birds and other wildlife need a little extra help as the first frost looms.  Make your own cone feeder to take home to feed the birds in your garden.  As for bats – these are the only mammal that flies.  Let’s prepare a bat box and a flight path for them at the Gordon Brown Centre, and make your own Bat Mask for Halloween!
