Even young children can be included in a fun day out at The Gordon Brown Centre with an invitation to the Brown Bear Picnic.
This is a full day's program aiming to develop children's understanding of the world around them. Through a range of fun games and activities focusing on their own teddy the children use their senses to discover the natural world.
They help their teddies survive, build them shelters in the woods and find them food. While sharing a teddy bears' picnic for lunch, the morning's discoveries are reflected upon during the chance to experience their own quiet place with their teddy.
