Day Visits

Whether to support the National Curriculum or just enjoy a fun day out, consider a day trip to The Gordon Brown Centre. Lessons can be interesting and engaging when learnt in a practical environment.

The benefits of studying in the outdoors are clear: plants and animals can be observed, pond ecologies discovered,
natural sculptures built and important moments in history reenacted. In fact, any lesson can be brought to life
and made more interesting by utilising the Centre's resources.
A wide variety of activities means we are able to offer days suitable for pre-school children through to young adults.
When it's time to take the lessons indoors and review the day's learning, the Centre offers a classroom and eco-house as well as dining area and kitchen.
No matter what information you would like your students to pick up while visiting with us, we can help you put together a day plan that will suit their needs.
